The second edition of the Film Festival of South-East European cinema is to be held from the 9th until the 12th of May 2012. Organised by South-East European Cinematography "SEE a Paris", the President of the festival is the author of theater dramas Jordan Plevnes. The festival program includes feature films, documentaries, animated and short films from all 12 SEE countries.

Factory chimney & mosque minaret is a "site specific" installation in Venice where an object with dimensions (15 to 17 in height) will be built almost in the same shape as the one in Kavaja city -Albania in order to comeclose to the authenticity of the latter (20 meters in real height. Also,throughout the time it would stand installed (the object will undoubtedly betemporary) the muezzin (his voice) would sing out the Adhan, the ritual reminder made to all faithful Muslims 5 times a day !!!

The Promenade Gallery is pleased to announce the Solo Exhibition of Alkan Nallbani “Garden Of Yhe Gods”, curated by Artan Shabani, in collaboration with The Promenade Gallery, Vlorë ALBANIA, from July 15 until August 13, 2011.

Opening Hours : Tuesday - Saturday from 10-12 AM - 7- 11 PM and by appointment.

Held in Romania from 16th April till 15th May, 2011 the exhibition in Malta will be held from 15th July till 15th August, 2011. Main sponsors include Heritage Malta, Malta Arts Fund, Bank of Valletta and Emmanuel Delicata Winemaker and Art Act Magazine.

Embattled political histories, art-historical references, cinematic and internet-based references merge in the images of Artan Shabani. The work included in the exhibition I Fought the X and the X Won rewrites assumed frames of reference, asking questions rather than providing answers, like Helidon Gjergji’s.
