TIPHF-Tirana International Photo Fest- in PARIS, on 15th April from 6 to 9 pm

Tirana International Photo Fest was launched on May 12th 2014, at the Dream City Fest expo venue located in the heart of Tirana, in the presence of friends, art lovers, photographers, architects and media. Dream City Fest Fest is bringing together photographers, architects, designers from all around the world in to one city wide festival about photography.

The second part of TIPhF Tirana International Photo Fest in PARIS will take place on 15th April 2015 at the "Laboratoire de la Création" - 111 Rue Saint Honoré 75001 Paris.

Dream City Fest is very proud to announce the first International Photography Festival in Albania. Dream City Fest is bringing together photographers, architects, designers from all around the world in to one city wide festival about photography.

Dream City FEST (DCF) is a non-profit organization registered in Albania whose mission is to test the boundaries of architecture/art and confronting architecture with different disciplines. DCF is also a platform for discussion between artists, architects, critics of arts, curators, experts from other fields and citizens.

This festival is a major event, which highlights and presents the highest standards of work from some of the best practitioners and leading talents from across Europe and the world.

TIPhF Jury

Mark Sink

Photographer, curator and teacher, has been and making a living from fine art photography since 1978. He is well known for his imagery made with the toy plastic camera the Diana. Currently, also a reverse technology, he is producing collodion wet plate photographs.

Kristen Hatgi Sink

Photographer Kristen Hatgi-Sink at once revels in and reveals the aesthetic conventions of decadence and beauty. Both sumptuous and cloying her images indulge in excess while leaving clues that not all is well in paradise.

Milva Giacomelli

milva_tiphf_GiacomelliIn 1991 she took a degree in Architecture in the University of Florence with a thesis on Virgilio Marchi architetto teatrale e scenografo. In 2000 she took the Doctorate in History of the Architecture and Town Planning in the Faculty of Architecture of University of Florence with a thesis on Silvio Gambini dal Liberty al Futurismo (tutor G. Fanelli).

Jean-Jacques Terrin

Jean-Jacques Terrin undertakes research and publishes books on the changing design practices and their relations with collaborative work, innovation and sustainability. He has worked on numerous design and urban planning projects. From 1996 to 2001, he runs a major research programme for the French Ministry of urban planning on the changes of architectural and planning practices.

Pascal Hamon

Presently in charge of the international office in the Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture at Versailles ( France), he also has a doctorate of political science ( PhD). Pascal was lecturer ( 2004-2012) at the University of Cergy Pontoise with a course on the European projects in the field of Heritage .Since 1992, he has a great interest for Albania and Balkans area.
